Supergrass “The Strange Ones”, 1994-2008 Super Deluxe Box Set, 6 LPs, 13CDs, 7” Single, Deluxe Book, Posters and Button Badges

Supergrass formed in 1993 with band members Gaz Coombes, Danny Goffey, Mick Quinn and Rob Coombes.  They raised noise in the oxford indie music scene and officially signing with their first record label Parlophone Records releasing their debut album I Should Coco in 1995. Their debut album reached number one in the UK album charts and gained platinum status selling over a million worldwide and 500,000 copies in the UK.

Fourteen years of their career and six albums later, Supergrass have released their Deluxe Edition. This box set is a gem that any fan would want to purchase. The Box set includes 6 LPs, 13CDs, 7” single, book, posters and button badges and marks 25 years since the release of I Should Coco along with celebrating their successful career.

We collaborated with BMG on the The Strange Ones, 1994-2008 Super Deluxe Box Set release which includes:

6 LPs

The set has a 12" Box with lift of lid with a matt lamination finish with logo foil blocked on the cover. The bottom box artwork matches the bright orange lid, the inner lid and inside base is lined with black uncoated paper.

The LPs are 12” picture discs of their six albums I Should Coco (1995), In It For The Money (1997), Supergrass (1999), Life On Other Planets (2002), Road To Rouen (2005) and Diamond Hoo Ha (2008) which includes all the original artwork for each album on both sides. Each picture disc is housed in a 12” deluxe bags with a flap tucked in specially designed for the picture disc.

13CDs

There are thirteen CDs in this box set, each including different content. The first digifile is a six CD set that contains all the original studio albums in a 12 panel digifile with six pockets for each CD. This digifile has a gloss machine varnish.

The second set is a live album which contains four CDs of five hours of unreleased performances, radio sessions and full live shows along with acoustic sets. This is an 8  panel digifile with four pockets for each CD with a gloss machine varnish finish.

The third set includes 2 CDs which contains different remixes of songs and B sides along with acoustic versions of songs and much more. The CDs are a 4 panel digifile made from 300g white-white cardboard material with a gloss machine varnish finish.

The last set is a one CD Roots & Vines set which contains rare unreleased demos such as Sitting Up Straight and more along with outtakes and more. This set a single CD carton sleeve wallet made from 215g white-white cardboard material with a gloss machine varnish finish.

7” single

The standard black 7” single includes remixes of Caught By The Fuzz / Richard III 2020. This LP is housed in a white paper sleeve with two cut out holes in the middle.

Deluxe Book

There is a 12” deluxe book part of this set. The book contains fifty-two pages of stories of each album. These stories were written by different journalists including Everett True, Charles Shaar Murray, Sylvia Patterson and many more. There are many quotes from the newer interviews by Matt Everitt with the band with along never seen before behind the scenes photos, memorabilia and more. The softback book is perfect bound is printed on gloss coated paper and the cover pages are also printed with gloss coated paper and gloss lamination.

Posters

The set also includes four posters ranging in different sizes and including intricate artwork on each. The posters are all printed on gloss coated paper

Button Badges

As a collector item, the set includes eight button badges which come in different sizes. Each have artwork of the members and different quotes from the band and their music.
