Ride are back with their sixth studio album This Is Not A Safe Place, this is the band’s second album release since they reformed in November 2014. The album tracks and theme are inspired by the band’s early days trying to incorporate it into 2019. Featuring their first single off the record “Future” and other tracks such as “Repetition”, This Is Not A Safe Space has successfully hit number 7 on the official UK Album charts. The artwork references their 1990 debut album Nowhere.
Erol Alkan produced the album, which is Ride’s second album produced by him. Alan Moulder took care of the mixing, making it the fourth album he has worked on with Ride.
