We feel like we finally reached the place where we always wanted to be and that’s exactly what Who Do You Trust? represents’’, Singer Jacoby Shaddix explains. The 12-track anthemic piece features heavy rhythmic guitars and catchy hooks on "Who Do You Trust", "Renegade Music" and melodic tunes on "Not The Only One" with emotionally-charged lyrics nodding to pop culture. Who Do You Trust? is produced by Nick ‘’RAS’’ Furlong (All Time Low) and Colin Cunningham (5 Seconds of Summer).

Pavo Pavo Mystery Hour CD, [Bella Union]

Mystery Hour, the band’s second album is a focused, widescreen development. Channelling the narrative drama of Oliver and Eliza’s changing relationship, it is an uncategorizable record that’s both maximal and compact, a fever dream filled with cinematic imagery and rooted in acute emotion, written as the two were separating after a six-year relationship. The album draws thematic inspiration from a wide range of media: Ingmar Bergman’s Persona to choreographer Pina Bausch, painter David Hockney, and multi-media artist Alex da Corte. Photographer Natalie O’Moore’s album cover depicts Eliza and Oliver in turbulent conversation at the beach, resembling a film still to mirror the album’s narrative drama. “The beach is an image that keeps coming back to us – the edge of the world, with the possibility of exiting it,” Oliver says. “The idea for this cover is that it builds on the Young Narrator cover, with two figures casting long shadows on the beach. That cover was a collage and this is a photograph, the hi-res, come-to-life version.”

Press Club Late Teens Vinyl, [Hassle]

Late Teens is what happens when four Melbourne musicians come together to create a body of work entirely devoid of outside influence, being answerable to only themselves. Over six weeks, bassist Iain MacRae’s house was converted into a temporary song-writing sweatshop where the band wrote forty songs that were distilled into the dozen that make up the track list on Late Teens. Relying upon the experiences of their friends and people they know as subject matter, Late Teens thematically approaches displacement, relationships, internal turmoil, gentrification and inequality. Press Club is the musical embodiment of the attitude of a generation experiencing impermanence in every way.

The band is very much as before but this time even more of a family affair with Roger’s daughter Saffren providing vocals as well as Beat stalwart and crowd pleaser Ranking Junior.

The Beat Featuring Ranking Roger Bounce Vinyl, [DMF Records]

Bounce is the spectacular new fourth album by first-generation 2 Tone skankers turned purveyors of joyous political pop The Beat. From the clipped and hectic rude boy shuffle of new tunes "Avoid The Obvious" to the chiming sunshine pop romance of "Heaven Hiding" through to "Fire Burn" heavy-duty righteousness, Bounce shows off every gleaming aspect of the most musically diverse band to come out of the multiracial, multicultural explosion that remade British pop from 1979 onwards. Bounce is the first album from The Beat in over 30 years and released on independent label DMF Records. Written by a combination of Ranking Roger, Mick Lister and Ranking Junior, it has been produced by Mick Lister (Bad Company, Amy Winehouse, The Feeling) and mixed by Tim Hamill and Mick Lister except for "Side to Side" and "My Dream" mixed by Dennis Bovell (The Slits, Madness). The same energy that drove the hit singles of the 80s; "Mirror In The Bathroom", "Stand Down Margaret" and "Too Nice To Talk To" - reggae looseness plus razor-sharp song-writing meets the paranoid pace of punk.

Gianni Ferrio Un Dollaro Bucato Vinyl, [Silva Screen]

The classic 1965 Spaghetti Western, Un Dollaro Bucato (Blood for a Silver Dollar) was an Italian/French collaboration directed by Giorgio Ferroni. The film's release in America saw the title changed to 'One Silver Dollar' and its star's name changed from Guiliano Gemma to the rather less Italian sounding Montgomery Wood, under which moniker Gemma continued to perform. Ferrio's music for Un Dollaro Bucato has all the galloping excitement and standoff tension of Morricone's soundtracks for Sergio Leone's classic Dollars Trilogy and was used by Tarantino in his 2009 film 'Inglourious Basterds'.

Go Dark Neon Young CD, [Bella Union]

Ultimately, Neon Young is a record about repression and identity, about the pathways forged when life begins to suffocate, and the lengths that people go to just to survive.
