Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury return to score Ben Wheatley’s 1970s based epic shoot-out Free Fire, executively produced by Martin Scorsese. The soundtrack was compiled by Ben Wheatley himself and this version features all score tracks by Barrow & Salisbury, dialogue from the film and all license music used in the film (Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Denver, The Real Kids).

It’s been ten years since Milburn’s major label debut ‘Well Well Well’. Now the band, who kick started the Sheffield revival that would give birth to – amongst others – Arctic Monkeys and Reverend & The Makers, are back.

This recording is the culmination of that project, presenting chronologically the two great Reformation cantatas of J. S. Bach and three chorale-based works by Mendelssohn, Brahms and Vaughan Williams, each preceded here by the chorale melody or hymn on ̀which they are based, giving an insight into the emotional and dramatic strength of the Reformation's theological and cultural legacy.

Philip Selway Let Me Go, vinyl album and CD, [Bella Union]

Radiohead drummer PHILIP SELWAY’s new album is a departure from its two preceding albums (Familial and Weatherhouse). It’s the soundtrack to the film drama Let Me Go, a story about mothers and daughters; about loss and mistrust; about the ramifications of a World War II crime; about secrets, trauma and lingering ghosts. The album will released physically on 27th October via Bella Union and available digitally from 15th September to coincide with the film’s release.
