Poliça is an American group founded by Ryan Olson and Channy Leaneagh. Their first album, “Give You The Ghost,” came out in 2012 and it immediately got the attention of the music press with Rolling Stone hailing it as “the sound of heartbreak and celebration happening simultaneously” and Q praising it as “a bewitching, urgent, magical debut.”
With their incredible live lineup formed by two drummers, Drew Christopherson and Ben Ivascu, Chris Beirden on bass and Leaneagh singing, they started to tour all over. Their new album, United Crushers, was born out of the longest break from touring in Poliça’s history.
“United Crushers” is a unique pearl, both musically and in terms of artwork, the record sleeve, designed by artist Eric Carlson is astonishing and perfectly represents the soul of the album.
“If this really is Poliça’s “final paper” (as Leaneagh’s called it), then they’ve excelled themselves with the most intimate and empowering album of their career.”

“Despite its heavy subject matter, this record sparkles and whirrs in a way that is very easy to fall in love with.”
